The Global Energy Prize delegation will participate in the World Future Energy Summit 2016
One of the most influential Middle East’s forum in the energy field –World Future Energy Summit 2016 - will be held in Abu Dhabi from January 18 to January 21. The Global Energy Prize delegation led by its President Igor Lobovsky will participate in it for the fifth time.
World Future Energy Summit (WFES) is a platform for a much-needed dialogue between critical stakeholders, from Heads of States, Governments, to the Business and Financial communities and Academia. It gathers annually representatives of more than 155 countries to experience the latest developments in energy field and gain first-hand knowledge on upcoming strategies, trends, and solutions across the energy sector. Energy efficient and clean technologies are traditionally being focused on within the event`s business program.
Main panel discussions` participation, expositions and key energy objects visiting are in the GEP delegation`s program. The main point of this program is the Global Energy Prize laureate`s, Shuji Nakamura, presentation within the panel session on “Creating world-class partnerships between research industry, government and academia to build long-term sustainable solutions”.
According to the Partnership’s President Igor Lobovsky, “the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest global energy trends and the most outstanding innovative projects in the energy sector is one of indisputable advantages of participation in the World Future Energy Summit. But the most important for us this year is the chance to present to summit`s delegates the author of a crucial innovation that has a global impact on the whole planet. It is our laureate, Shuji Nakamura. His invention – bright blue light emitting diode - enables ecological energy-efficient lightning, allows decreasing global energy consumption and continues on conserve Earth’s resources. I am sure his presentation will be one of the brightest moments of the WFWS`s business program.”
