The Global Energy International communications project gets the Silver Archer Award
The Global Energy Association has become a laureate of the prestigious National award in the field of public relations development, Silver Archer. The project called “Scientists are the new Superheroes of the XXI Century in Russia and worldwide” which was presented in collaboration with the international communications agency FleishmanHillard and the communications group Orta, was acknowledged as the best idea in the field of the international communications.
The project is aimed to demonstrate that the Global Energy Prize laureates are not only the scientists who make breakthroughs in their laboratories and offices, but their inventions really move our life forward.
In the framework of the communications strategy, they were shown as superheroes on the cognition top who invented the technologies for the humankind.
The winners of the XX Silver Archer Award were determined after the final stage of the contest - the public defense of the projects that formed a short list. The award ceremony took place on the stage of the Moscow State Circus on February 17.
During the ceremony, the Global Energy Association president, Igor Lobovsky, expressed his gratitude to the Award founders:
“I want to take the opportunity to thank the relatives and friends who inspired and supported us: the first executive director, Misha Matitsin, the FleishmanHillard Vanguard company (Elena Fadeeva), as well the Global Energy Prize team, our 10 fighters. I want to give special thanks to the 34 Prize laureates, who made outstanding inventions and discoveries for the civilization’s benefits. Without them our project wouldn’t have existed”, he told.
The Award was presented by the executive director of the Silver Archer, the Head of the Silver Archer – USA department, Nadezhda Yavdliuk, and the Director General of the Russian News Agency, Sergey Mikhaylov.
The project was included in the short-list of two awards - SABRE Awards 2016 for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region and ICCO Global Awards. The Global Energy Association project was among five best projects in the nomination “Marketing to Youth” (SABRE Awards 2016) and nomination “Best PR-campaign for a non-profit project” (ICCO Global Awards). Both awards are considered the most influential in communications sphere.
