On an annual basis, in collaboration with the Bahrain World Economic Summit Organization, the Global Energy Foundation will hold a program titled ’Gulf Energy’. The Program will promote the creation of innovation and education centers in Bahrain, and later in the other Arabian Gulf states. The main goal of the Gulf Energy Program lies in the development and implementation of high-technology energy solutions in the region, as well as in teaching Russian to children and youth.
In the context of the Gulf Energy Program, the Global Energy Foundation will make sure that the required number of English-speaking teachers pay a visit to the Bahrain University in order to give their sets of lectures on pre-agreed energy-related topics. This initiative of the Foundation is focused on accelerating the realization of the Bahrain Youth Education Program. Following Bahrain, the other Arabian Gulf states will also join the Program.
For the duration of their work, the teachers will be supplied with comfortable accommodations, and their work schedule will be made up in such a way as to ensure maximum efficiency and to achieve the best results possible. It is planned that every summer a group of children from the Arabian Gulf countries will be sent to Russia for a vacation, during which they will study Russian. In Russia they will be supplied with both recreational and educational facilities in one of the health & leisure camps near Moscow.
Based on the results of the first year of the Gulf Energy Program, decisions will be made on improvements and corrections. The Global Energy Foundation and the Bahrain World Economic Summit Organization will consider the investment component of the project.
